New York, NY, 12/15/01 - (NASDAQ:DCLK), the leading digital marketing solutions company, and Unicast, developer of the SUPERSTITIAL®, the Internet's
Commercial™, today announced the completion of a combined effort to enable DoubleClick’s DART for
Advertisers service to deliver and report on Unicast SUPERSTITIAL ads.
This integration enables both DoubleClick and Unicast’s
advertiser and agency customers to include SUPERSTITIAL
campaigns in their centralized DART reports used to track
the results of their online campaigns. DART for Advertisers
customers can now take advantage of conversion reporting,
including post impression tracking, to help evaluate the
performance of SUPERSTITIAL ads, along with other forms
of rich media and graphic banners.
In addition, this integration enables SUPERSTITIAL
impressions to be included in the campaign reach and
frequency reporting also available in DART, providing a
more complete view of campaign breadth.
"The SUPERSTITIAL is an integral component of the online
advertising strategies we recommend to our clients," said
Aimee Reker, Media Director, Circle.com. "The integration of
the SUPERSTITIAL into the DART system will increase
accuracy, flexibility and efficiency in campaign tracking and
reporting for all parties involved.”
Simultaneously, DoubleClick has designated Unicast with
gold certification to serve SUPERSTITIAL ads through
DoubleClick’s DART service. The DART Rich Media Vendor
Certification program, which was launched in October 2001,
ensures that rich media creatives meet certain standards of
support and reporting to help marketers identify those rich
media vendors that are compatible with the DART 5 platform.
Gold certification is the highest level of certification available.
“We have a high percentage of customers in common with
Unicast and are delighted to provide them centralized
reporting that will now include the performance of
SUPERSTITIALs,” said Andy Ellenthal Director of Sales and
Business Development Americas for DoubleClick's
Technology Solutions for Advertisers. “Unicast is only the
second vendor to achieve Gold DART Rich Media
Certification, and we are proud to have them as part of our
program.”
“Unicast and DoubleClick have been partners for nearly two
years, and this integration is an important step forward in our
relationship,” said Allie Shaw, VP Global Marketing, Unicast.
“Propagating standards that streamline the online
advertising process for all of our constituents – agencies,
advertisers and Web sites -- is at the core of Unicast’s
mission. The ability to track SUPERSTITIAL ads through
DART for Advertisers is something our advertisers and their
agencies have been looking forward to. We are pleased to
be able to respond to this demand and expect that the result
of our joint efforts will surely impact the online advertising
economy.”
The DART for Advertisers service is part of DoubleClick’s
TechSolutions division, which along with the DART service
for Publishers and the AdServer software solution, provides
comprehensive service and software solutions for over 2,000
marketers worldwide.
